Lyudmila Samotyosova

Lyudmila Ivanovna Samotjossowa (Russian Людмила Ивановна Самотёсова, English transcription Lyudmila Samotyosova, born Игнатьева - Ignatjewa - Ignatyeva, . Born October 26, 1939 in Leningrad) is a former Soviet sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 she left about 200 m from the inlet port.

Four years later she was at the Olympics in Tokyo in 1964 over the same distance and came fifth in the 4 x 100 meters relay with the Soviet team to fourth place.

At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1966, she finished fourth in the 400m and won bronze with the Soviet team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

In 1968, she reached the semi-finals respectively at the Olympic Games in Mexico City about 100 m and 200 m. In the 4 x 100 meters relay she won the bronze medal with the Soviet quartet.

Once she became Soviet champion in the 100 m ( 1968), three times over 200 m (1964, 1967, 1968) and twice over 400 m (1966, 1967). In the hall she took the 1965 national title over 60 m and 300 m.
