Background

The Polyphonic film and television mbH produced the series under the working title Tropencops for the Second German Television (ZDF ) Due to the fact that the series on the Internet portal of the ZDF is not listed, it is likely that the series will not continue. So it created the series to 11 episodes (10 pilot movie). Between 3.5 and 4.1 million viewers tuned in on Wednesdays at 19:25 a clock. Authors were: Hans Werner, Christos Yiannopoulos

Action

M.E.T.R.O. stands for Mobile Einsatzgruppe Tropical Medicine, which was founded as threatening to engulf a dangerous fever in Hamburg. This was the plot of the pilot film. Now the newly formed task force cases got in the world in which they had to contain outbreaks.
