M18 highway (Russia)

The R21 Kola (Russian Кола ) is a trunk road ( highway of federal importance ) in Russia. It runs from St Petersburg in the north by the Republic of Karelia and Murmansk on the Barents Sea to Pechenga and the Norwegian border. It is part of the European Route 105

The road was renumbered R21 in 2010. Previously she wore between Saint Petersburg and Murmansk the number M18 ( further Severomorsk, today regional road ) and Kola to the Norwegian border, the number A138. The old numbers can still be used until 31 December 2017 as an alternative.
