M777 howitzer

The first American unit in which the M777 replaced the M198, 2005 was the third artillery battalion of the 11th Regiment of the U.S. 1st Marine Division of the United States Marine Corps. By early 2010, the M777 had largely displaced their predecessors.

In addition to the U.S. Armed Forces and the Canadian Forces have 37 M777 howitzers and the Australian Defence Force ordered 35 M777 howitzers.
