Maarten Tjallingii

Maarten Tjallingii ( born November 5, 1977 in Leeuwarden ) is a Dutch racing cyclist.

Appreciation Tour of Belgium 2006

Maarten Tjallingii could win a stage of the 2001 Tour du Faso. In 2003, he got a contract with the Asian Marco Polo Cycling Team. He won in the first season there around roadstead and again a stage of the Tour du Faso. This time he could decide the overall title for themselves. In 2006 and 2007 he drove Continental team Skil- Shimano for the Dutch Professional. In the Tour of Belgium 2006, he won the first stage for himself and defend the lead until the end. In 2008 he moved to the UCI ProTeam Rabobank. When prestigious classic Paris -Roubaix he reached 2011 behind Johan Vansummeren and Fabian Cancellara in third place.
