Måbødalen

Måbødal is a valley in the municipality of Eidfjord, Hordaland province in the western part of Norway. The valley forms the transition between the fjord Eidfjord and Hardangervidda plateau. On a few kilometers, the terrain drops from 500 meters above sea level to sea level. The valley is very narrow and is surrounded by steep rock walls. In the upper part of the valley plunges over a steep rock face of the third highest waterfall in Norway the Vringsfossen 145 m in depth.
