Mabi de Almeida

Álvaro " Mabi " de Almeida ( born October 12, 1963 in Benguela, Huambo † 6 June 2010 ) was an Angolan football coach. He studied in Zwickau sport pedagogy.

Career

Mabi de Almeida was in November 2008 coach of the Angolan national football team after he was previously employed as an assistant coach two years. In April 2009 the Angolan Association announced that he is looking for a new coach. So de Almeida was released shortly afterwards. Until his death in June 2010, he was coach of the Angolan club Caála.
