Mac Ahlberg
Mac Ahlberg ( born June 12, 1931 in Stockholm, Sweden, † 26 October 2012 in Cupra Marittima, Italy) was a Swedish cinematographer, film director and screenwriter.
Life and work
Ahlberg began his work in film in the 1950s as a camera assistant and easier cameraman. First time in 1964 director of photography, he gave in 1965 his directorial debut with the Danish production I a woman ( Jeg - en kvinde ). The film was successful and Ahlberg staged then mostly under the pseudonym " Bert Torn" some liberal - social-critical "Swedish films."
In 1977 he settled in the United States and here focused exclusively on the activity as a cameraman. He was involved in many other things in the music video Black or White by Michael Jackson.
