Maciej Nalepa

Maciej Nalepa (born 31 March 1978 in Tarnów, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

He played through all the youth teams at Stal Rzeszów and moved in 1996 to the city rivals Resovia Rzeszów. Subsequently, he played in several unterklassigen Polish clubs before in the Ukraine, he moved to Karpaty Lviv 2001. In his first professional club, he was goalkeeper only in his second season. The regular place he lost, however, after two years of his Ukrainian opponent Bogdan Shust.

In 2005 he moved to Latvia to ambitionsreichen club Venta Kuldiga who had committed at this time many well-known players such as Oleg Luzhny, Aliaksandr Khatskevich or Ģirts Karlsons. Here he was first-choice goalkeeper. However, the club went bankrupt in late 2005. So Nalepa returned back to the end of 2005 Karpaty Lviv. Here he graduated in three years, only 22 league games and moved on to Season 2008/ 2009 League rivals FK Kharkiv. After just one season he left the club and played in the 2009/10 season for the Polish first division Piast Gliwice.

At the end of the season Nalepa left the club from Upper Silesia, and switched to Odra Wodzisław. For Odra he played in the 2010/2011 season seven games in the second Polish league before he completely retired for the season 2011/12 from the professional sector and moved to unterklassigen KS Zaczernie.

National

He played a total of two times for the Polish national team. 2003, a friendly against Kazakhstan (3-0 ) and 2004 with a friendly against the Faroe Islands ( 6-0 ).
