Mad Caddies
The Mad Caddies are an American ska punk band, which was founded in August 1995 in Solvang, California.
Music style
The band used in their titles elements of melodic punk rock, ska, hardcore punk, reggae and - especially on the second album Duck and Cover - Dixieland jazz. During their first CD Quality Soft Core is still very much oriented on pure ska, punk and even jazz elements can be found on Duck and Cover contingent mainly with one. Their third album Rock The Plank has, with few exceptions, no Dixieland elements more. The fourth and fifth album, however, are more oriented to pop, they are slower and have more serious issues.
