Madara LÄ«duma

Madara Līduma ( born August 10, 1982 in Gulbene ) is a Latvian biathlete.

The Riganerin Madara Liduma ASK Riga operates since 1998 biathlon. Since 2001, coached by Maris Cakars athlete belongs to the Latvian national team. The sports soldier announced in 2000 its international debut at the European Junior Championships in Zakopane; her best individual result was there an eleventh place in the sprint. Then she started without success at the Junior World Championships in Hochfilzen, and finally at the World Championships in the summer Biathlon in Khanty-Mansiysk, where she was twelfth in the pursuit and the Fourth Season. In 2001 she made ​​her debut in the Biathlon World Cup and was 91st in the sprint of Ruhpolding. In the following years Liduma commuted frequently between World and European and participated in most of the world and European championships, with outstanding performances were exceptional. At the 2005 World Championships in Hochfilzen Sprint and 2007 in Antholz in individual she won per the 15th Place. Particularly successfully ran the Olympic Winter Games for lettin 2006 in Turin.
