Madcon
Madcon (short for Mad Conspiracy English " crazy conspiracy ") is a Norwegian founded in 1992, hip-hop and reggae band. The band is made up of " Kapricon " Tshawe Baqwa ( born January 6, 1980 in Saarbrücken) and "Critical " Yosef Wolde - Mariam (* August 4, 1978 in Norway).
Biography
The two musicians were discovered by the Norwegian producer duo Stargate. The song Beggin from their album So Dark the Con of Man (published on 3 December 2007 ) received platinum in Norway and was 12 weeks number 1 in the official Norwegian charts. Beggin is a cover of 1967 put forward by the Four Seasons song of the same name.
Madcon Glow presented the title on the occasion of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2010 as the " Euro Vision Song Contest Flashmob Dance" on May 29, 2010 during the evaluation of the votes cast. Shortly afterwards, the song reached number 1 in Germany the sales charts of the download portal iTunes and Award Germany with platinum. In the same year they released their single Freaky Like Me, which became her third number - one single in Norway. In Germany, the single reached number 9 and reached gold status.
Also in the following years were Madcon commercially successful and published in 2013 their sixth studio album icon that could be placed at the top of the Norwegian album charts. Among other things, One Life ft. Kelly Rowland has been published. In Germany the song reached # 6 The signal was released in September 2013.
