Madeleine Giske

Madeleine Giske ( born 14 September 1987 in Nuremberg, Germany ) is a Norwegian football player. She is the daughter of former Norwegian professional footballer Anders Giske and was born during his time at the 1 FC Nuremberg.

Career

Giske took part in the 2004 U-19 European Championship, was eliminated in Norway in the group stage. In 2006, she played with the U-21 team at the Nordic Cup and finished fifth.

In March 2006, she was 18 years old her first international match and was in the squad for the World Cup in China in 2007, when it was used in two games. Due to a cruciate ligament tears in June 2008, she was unable to attend the Olympic Games in Beijing and the European Championship in Finland. In 2010 she was again taken into account for the national team and was in the squad for the 2011 World Cup in Germany. When Vorrundenaus the Norwegian team in her native country she came in two games for use.
