Mads Christiansen

Mads Christiansen (born 3 May 1986 as Næstved ) is a Danish handball player.

The 1.94 meter tall and 92 kilogram right winger played GOG Svendborg TGI at the beginning and AaB Håndbold. From the summer of 2011, he was at Team Tvis Holstebro under contract. Since the 2013/14 season he runs on for Bjerringbro - Silkeborg.

For the Danish national team, he played until the end of January 2014 67 states games in which he threw 133 goals. He stood in the extended squad for the World Cup 2011. A year later, Christiansen took part in the 2012 European Championship, won Denmark. At the European Championships in 2014 in his own country, he was Vice-European Champion.
