Magaluf

Template: Infobox district of a municipality in Spain / Maintenance / localidad Magaluf is a place (or a tourist " urbanization" ) on the Balearic island of Mallorca. It lies at the western end of the bay of Palma and is part of the municipality of Calvià. As in Arenal numerous hotels were built to accommodate the tourists here. The silhouette of the place is still determined more by the lined high-rise buildings as at the Platja de Palma. While Arenal is more visited by German tourists, Magaluf is the preferred destination for holidaymakers from the UK. Accordingly, English pubs, fish-and - chips, bingo and billiard stalls dominate the street scene.

The sandy beach of Magaluf is 1600 meters long, making it one of the longest in the district of Calvia. The tourist office was one of 1360 beds and 790 parasols. In the bay of Magaluf is a small, now a nature reserve island.
