Magic City is an American drama series from Mitch Glazer, produced for the U.S. cable channel Starz since 2012. She plays in the 50s and shows how Ike Evans in Miami with the help of the Mafia fulfilled his dream of owning a luxury hotel, Miramar Playa. The first broadcast was on Starz on March 30, 2012. The German Original Air Date takes place at the pay-TV channel Sky Atlantic HD since 30 September 2012. In the free-TV broadcasting the series began on May 15, 2013 in ZDFneo.
Even before the broadcast of the first episode, the series was extended in March 2012 to a second season with eight episodes. In August 2013 Starz announced that series after the second season.
The Emmy Awards 2012, the series was nominated for Best leader ( Outstanding Main Title Design).
