Magnus Berg
Magnus Berg ( born November 28, 1666 Romsdal, Norway, † March 31, 1739 ) was a Norwegian painter and ivory carvers.
In 1690, he came at the invitation of the Danish King Christian V to Denmark. This furthered his work as a painter and gave him stay in Paris and Rome in the years 1694 - 1698th A year later he returned to Denmark, where he could live in the palace of Frederiksborg and also received a royal salary.
As a painter mountain was not outstanding, famous in Europe, it was only through his ivories.
Of his works can still be seen today in the Royal Danish collection in Rosenborg Castle.
