Magoo's Puddle Jumper is an American animated short film by Pete Burness from the year 1956.

Action

The extremely short-sighted Mister Magoo buys a car dealer a " new used ", even if his nephew Waldo tries to stop him from this bad buy, it is but a dilapidated classic car. Magoo driving the car for a while first backward before it drives him forward, among others, by a corner shop. A traffic policeman who pursues him and then prompts you to steer the car to the curb and stop ignoring the old man. Instead, he shuts down a pier and lands on the seabed.

Dry sitting inside, commented Mr. Magoo the seemingly extremely rainy weather, the fish that he keeps for cars and even his rundown hometown. As a seal pressed constantly hanging outside the horn and Mr. Magoo wants to put the intruder to speech, allowing water to penetrate into the car. Mr. Magoo goes unconsciously back to the pier and again by the corner shop, so that the traffic cop puts him a second time to task and asks him, roll down the window. Mr. Magoo comes after and the policeman is thrown from the exiting amount of water to the ground. The policeman, who now lies in a pool of water on the floor, Mr. Magoo has now rightly: as long as he did not comply with his personal hygiene, he would not talk to him. Mr. Magoo drives away while the officer tried in vain to start his motorcycle.

The film series to Mr. Magoo began in 1949 with the short cartoon Ragtime Bear. Magoo's Puddle Jumper was the 29th film of the cartoon series. As in any Magoo result, the main character is also spoken in Magoo's Puddle Jumper by Jim Backus.

Awards

Magoo's Puddle Jumper won the 1957 Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ". Previously it was in 1955 awarded with When Magoo Flew a film about Mr. Magoo an Oscar.
