Măgureni

Magureni is a town in Prahova County, Wallachia, Romania. To the municipality includes the villages Magureni Cocorastii Caplii and Lunca Prahovei.

Geographical Location

Magureni is located in the west of the district Prahova, at the border to the circle Dâmboviţa, 29 kilometers from the county seat Ploieşti and 12 km from Campina, the second largest town of the district of Prahova. Magureni located on the county road (Drum Judetean ) DJ145.

Economy

The economy of the village in the Great Wallachia is mainly based on agriculture. In the village there is a manufacturer of paving stones called Paverom Construct. There is also a stocking factory, which manufactures high quality stockings and socks.
