Mai Nakagawa

May Nakagawa (Japanese中 川 真 依, Nakagawa of May; born April 7, 1987 in Komatsu ) is a Japanese water jumper. It starts in the 10 -meter platform diving as well as in the 3- m and 10 -m synchronized diving.

Their first international championship contested Nakagawa at the 2005 World Championships in Montreal, where she was ninth with Misako Yamashita in the finals of the 10 -meter synchronized jumping. The following year, the duo won the silver medal in Doha Asian Games. Nakagawa launched at the World Championships in Melbourne for the first time in the individual competition of the tower and immediately reached the semi-finals, with Yamashita was she in synchronous finals from the tower eighth. Nakagawa qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. In individual jumping from the tower she reached the final and was eleventh.
