Mai Văn Hòa

May Van Hoa ( born June 1, 1927 in Hanoi, † May 14, 1971 in Saigon ) was a South Vietnamese table tennis player who repeatedly won the Asian Cup.

Career

From 1950 to 1959 Van Hoa May was seven times nominated for the World Championships. Here, his greatest success was winning the bronze medal in 1959 with the South Vietnamese team. 1953 and 1954 he was Asian champion in singles. In doubles, he won in 1953 and 1957, Tran Canh Duoc the title, 1954, the duo finished second. With the team, he was runner-up in 1953 Asia 1957 champion. In the Asian Games, he won in 1958 in a double with Tran Canh Duoc and with the team.

In the ITTF World Ranking List May Van Hoa was performed on eighth place in the fall of 1957. His last known address was a tournament in September 1962 in Australia. He then joined an international no longer occur.
