Mai Yamaguchi

May Yamaguchi (Japanese山口 舞Yamaguchi of May; born July 3, 1983 in Shima ) is a Japanese volleyball player. She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Career

Yamaguchi began her career at the Osaka International Takii High School. In 2002 she came to their present club Okayama Seagulls. In 2009 she debuted in the Japanese national team, with which she reached the third place in the 2010 World Cup. 2011, the Außenangreiferin with Japan second in the Asia Cup. 2012 Yamaguchi took part in the London Olympics and won the bronze medal.
