The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum ( Narrow Gauge Railway Museum Maine) is a railway museum in Portland (Maine). In 1993, one the " Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company and Museum ," after the Edaville Railroad, a heritage railway in Massachusetts, in 1991 had to be shut down due to financial problems. The vehicles of this railway, which mostly came from the former narrow gauge operations in Maine were transferred in September 1993 to Portland.
