Maiquetia is a coastal city in Venezuela. It is on the Caribbean coast in the state of Vargas. Here, about 30 km north of the capital, Caracas, the Caracas airport is (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetia Simón Bolívar ). The cities of La Guaira and Maiquetia have grown into a metropolitan area.
Economy
