Maisan

The mountain Maysan.

The mountain Maysan ( Kor. 마이산, Maysan ) is located in Maysan Provincial Park, Jinan County, Jeollabuk -do.

The name Maysan literally means " horse's ears mountain", as the two top of the mountain resemble the ears of a horse. Locals often the higher peak ( 673 m) as a husband and the lower peak ( 667 m) as a wife.

At the foot of the mountain is the famous temple Tapsa. Other temples in the Maysan Provincial Park are the Eunsusa and Geumdangsa.
