Maizie Williams

Maizie Ursula Williams ( born March 25, 1951, Montserrat, West Indies ) is a Caribbean- British singer.

Life

Maizie Williams was born on the Caribbean island of Montserrat. Her family emigrated to the United Kingdom. She went to school in Birmingham, and was elected in Brighton "Miss Black & Beautiful ". The title was her first band, The Black Beautiful People the name.

Williams was next to the two Jamaican singers Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett, and a native of Aruba dancer Bobby Farrell member of in the 1970s and 1980s, both musically and commercially successful pop group Boney M. For this, she was cast in 1975 by the German music producer Frank Farian been. Although they occurred during the years with Boney M officially always for all live and television appearances as a singer with the group in appearance, however, was not actually involved in the musical production. When importing all the titles and the audio recordings in the studio for the singles and LPs only sang Mitchell, Barrett and Farian.

Williams was for a time romantically involved with Tommy Fuchsberger.
