Maja WÅ‚oszczowska

Maja Włoszczowska ( born 1 November 1983 in Warsaw) is a Polish mountain bike marathon rider.

Life

In Karpacz they started cycling, her coach was Zdzisław Szmit. She was Polish champion in mountain road driving in 1999. Your first big success was Maja Włoszczowska with second place at the World Championships in the Spanish Sierra Nevada. In 2002 she began a study of financial mathematics at the Technical University of Wrocław ( Politechnika Wrocławska ) in the Department of Fundamental Problems of Technology. Shortly after, she became a member of the Polish Lotto team, but still studied and graduated after five and a half years from. In 2003 she became the first mountain bike marathon world champion. 2007 ended Lotto its support, the new team of Maja Włoszczowska was the MTB Hall's team. At the 2008 Summer Olympics she won the silver medal behind Sabine Spitz.
