Make It Bun The is a song of the U.S. dubstep producer Skrillex, together with the Jamaican reggae singer Damian Marley. The song was first released on 16 April 2012 at the SoundCloud account from Marley, where it was heard within two weeks, more than 500,000 times on iTunes, it was released on May 1. It was written by Marley and Skrillex himself and reached number 66 shortly after its release of the British, Canadian and 34th place 33 of the Belgian charts.

The song begins like the song Liquor Store Blues by Bruno Mars with Marley as he sings " Now greetings to the world".

A music video for the song, which was released on September 6, 2012 are available on the official YouTube channel of Skrillex. The song itself, after it was released on Soundcloud, then released on April 19, 2012, on Skrillex ' official channel on YouTube.

Before the song was released, a demo version called Rudeboy Bass has been published.

Reception

Chart success

The song was only in the UK to reach the charts. In the top 75 of the Official Charts could enter at No. 66, but had to after a week the top 75 once again leave. The Top 40 Dance Charts could reach it. It debuted at # 14 and spending a total of six weeks in the charts. The last placement that Make It The Bun was there, was number 34

Criticism

The song received mixed reviews. Alistair Martin, for example, said of the song:

"I'm a huge fan of Both Damian Marley and Skrillex and I have to admit did this song was pretty disappointing. Hopefully I'll just be too drunk to care next time it comes on. "

And thus gave a more negative review.

Trivia

The song is heard in the first-person shooter Far Cry 3 during a mission.
