Maken-Ki

Maken -Ki (Japaneseマケン 姫 っ!, Maken -ki! ) Is a manga series by Hiromitsu Takeda, published in Japan since 2007. The work is classified in the genres of comedy and romance, and has been adapted including as anime television series.

Content

Takeru Ōyama (大山 タケル) arrives at a high school, which was an all-girls school earlier, and hopes there are many pretty girls to have around. But he meets here first Haruko Amaya (天 谷 春 恋), a friend of the past. The self- conscious Inaho Kushiya (櫛 八 イナホ) explains, Takeru was her fiancé, but he can not remember a promise. The popular Kodama Himegami (姫 神 コダマ), however, is Takeru and other boys hostile, especially if those other girls adjust. In addition, Takeru soon learns that it is a school for people with magical abilities who practice those mentioned with " Maken " objects. Also in the school duels in which magical powers are measured. But Takeru itself has no such capabilities and no Maken. Takeru joins on the advice of his childhood girlfriend of Mado Kenkei Kiko (魔 导 検 警 机构), short Maken -Ki, referred to arbitration body.

Publication

The manga was published in June 2007 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Dragon Age Pure. After the magazine was discontinued in February 2009, the manga since May 2009, will appear in the magazine Monthly Dragon Age. The publisher Fujimi Shobo brought the series out so far in ten anthologies, which sold more than 45,000 times.

Kadokawa has licensed the series for Taiwan and from February 2013, it appears so far six volumes on German as Maken -Ki at Planet Manga.

From March 9, 2011 ( issue 4/ 2011) to 9 March 2012 ( issue 4/ 2012) appeared in the Monthly Dragon Age a parody spin-off called Maken -ki! ! Inaho to Yukai na Nakamatachi (まけん きっ イナホ と ゆかい な 仲間 たち) in Yonkoma format. This was drawn by Yū Tsurusaki. The chapters have been summarized in an anthology which was published on 6 November 2011.

Anime

The studio AIC produced in 2011, directed by Koichi Ohata, from episode 6 assisted by Harume Kosaka a twelve episode anime adaptation of the manga. The series was conceived by Yosuke Kuroda, character design developed Nobuteru Yūki and the art direction was Kyo Inoue.

The series was on 5 October to 21 December 2011 after midnight (and thus on the previous TV day ) first broadcast from the transmitter TV Saitama. With some days delay broadcasts were performed by the transmitter AT- X, Chiba TV, Gifu Hoso, Mie TV, Sun TV, Tokyo MX TV, TV Kanagawa, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu. A custom built for FUNimation Entertainment English subtitled version was marketed through multiple streaming platforms.

A second season with 10 episodes called Maken -ki! Tsū (マケン 姫 っ!通), where TSU is identical in Japanese with English two, was erstausgestrahlt January 16, March 20, 2014 after midnight on Tokyo MX and TV Kanagawa, and also delays on Sun TV, TVQ Kyushu, AT -X, Chiba TV, TV Saitama, Gifu Hoso, Mie TV and BS11. The production moved to the studio Xebec, with Hiraku Kaneko was the director Akio Takami and the character design.

The music of the series comes from Cher Watanabe. The header title is Fly Away by Misuzu Togashi. For Broadcast the song baby was! baby! in different versions, sung by Shitaya Noriko, Nomizu Iori, Yahagi Sayuri, Misuzu Togashi, Aya Goda, Furuya Shizuka, Tanaka Rie, Akesaka Satomi, Mariya Ise, zogo Saeko, Misato, Satō Rina, Rina Hidaka, Mina and Harada Hitomi.
