Makhteshim Agan (also MA Industries or MAI) is an Israeli chemical company that manufactures mainly pesticides and markets. 18 October 2011 it was announced that the China National Agrochemical Corporation has bought 60 % of shares of Makhteshim Agan. With China National Agrochemical Corporation is a subsidiary of China National Chemical Corporation (also called ChemChina ).
