Makoto Itoh

Makoto Itoh (Japanese伊藤 诚, Itō Makoto, born April 20, 1936 in the prefecture of Tokyo) is a Japanese economist and is a theorist in the field of Marx's theory of value. His main work is Value and Crisis. He is a student of Kozo Uno.

From 1980 he taught at his alma mater, the University of Tokyo and later at the Kokugakuin University and the University Kokushikan.
