Makra Peak

The Makra is a 3586 m high mountain in northern Pakistan near the town of Kaghan. It lies about 200 kilometers from Islamabad in the Hazara region. The summit is reached by a jeep route followed by three to five hours walk. Once at the top you have a view of Hazara and Azad Kashmir.

The melt water complex situated on a mountain glacier feeds the river Kunhar.
