Maktar

Maktar (also Makthar, Arabic مكتر ) is a small town and market town in the nordtunesischen mountains, on the edge of the ancient city is Mactaris from which derives its name.

Geography

The town is located some 70 km southeast of El Kef at the edge of a 900 m high plateau, which is from the Oued Saboun, a tributary of the Medjerda, drained.
