Makyo (comics)

Pierre Makyo (* July 16, 1952 in Dunkirk as Pierre Fournier ) is a French comic book author and cartoonist.

He debuted as a cartoonist in the magazine Spirou. From 1981, he wrote the scenario of the series Balade au bout du monde (English: The Journey to the End of the World) for the artist Laurent Vicomte, Eric Herenguel, Michel Faure and Laval for the first time for the magazine Gomme! . This fantasy series was a great success and has already produced 15 albums. From mid- drew and wrote the lyrics for the Makyo series Grimion gant de cuir 1980 ( Eng.: Grimion leather gloves) and wrote the lyrics for Jerome K. Jerome Gully and Bloche (German: Jackie Kottwitz ). For the humorous series Les Bogros ( Eng.: The Bogros ), he was active as a draftsman again themselves.

In the 2000s he wrote the lyrics for the series Alzéor Mondraggo, Lumière Froide (German: Lou Chrysoées Adventure - Cold light ) and Je suis Cathar.
