Mal Anderson

Malcolm "Mal " Anderson ( born March 3, 1935 in Theodore, Queensland ) is an Australian former tennis player.

His biggest success in his tennis career was his victory in the men's singles at the 1957 U.S. Open against Ashley Cooper. He also won the French Open in 1973 at the age of 37 years with John Newcombe the Australian Open men's doubles in 1957.

In the Australian Davis Cup team, he came 1957-1973 a total of 19 appearances for where he won 13 matches.
