The Malatya airport or airport Erhaç Malatya ( Turkish Malatya Malatya Havaalanı or Erhaç Havaalanı ) is a Turkish airport near the city of Malatya in the town of Aksaray. It is operated by the State DHMI.

The airport was built in 1941 transferred the operation and is now used also by civil initially exclusively military use. He has one terminal with a capacity of 300,000 passengers a year and a paved airstrip, but no instrument flight landing system (ILS ) has. The apron has a size of 110 × 100 meters and can accommodate two airliners. For the military operation, there are also numerous smaller hangars and taxiways.

The associated therewith city of Malatya is located about 21 kilometers as the crow flies. They can be reached by taxi, private car or minibus. The route over the highway D -875 is about 30 kilometers long. Front of the terminal there is a parking lot for about 100 cars.

In line air traffic, the two airlines Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines fly regularly to Malatya. They operate from here Ankara and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen the two and Atatürk, the latter being responsible for about half of all passengers and the other two about a quarter each at the airport. Turkish Airlines is represented by about 75 percent.
