Malczyce

Malczyce ( German Maltsch der Oder ) is a town in powiat Sredzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland.

History

The city's port on the Oder was an important coal loading port in Silesia and belonged to the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The port made ​​1941 a larger envelope as Breslau. Since 1902, the small Bahn AG Jawor - Maltsch connected the place with Jawor. By 1945 Maltsch was a municipality in the district of Neumarkt district Breslau the province of Silesia.
