Malechówko

Malechówko ( German name new Malchow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Malechowo ( (old) Malchow ) in a circle Sławno ( Schlawe ).

Geographical location

Malechówko located ten kilometers southwest of the county town Sławno and two kilometers northeast of Malechowo on the Polish national road 6 ( = European route 28) Szczecin - Gdańsk, the former German Reich Straße 2, which led from Mittenwald via Munich, Leipzig, Berlin and Szczecin to Gdansk and Dirschau. Rail connection is via the three kilometers away Karwice ( Karwitz ) on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk.

Malechówko is surrounded by the towns of Słowino ( Schlawin ) in the north, and Karwice Karwiczki ( New Karwitz ) in the east, Paproty ( Parpart ) with Paprotki ( New Parpart ) and Malechowo in the south and Przystawy ( Pirbstow ) in the west.

Place name

To distinguish from the old village Malchow ( Malechowo ) the colony was named New Malchow, until the 20th century the first Malchow was then partially also called Old Malchow.

History

Since its inception, were distinguished in New Malchow, the two parts New Malchow Malchow New A and B, which is still (3 yards ) joined as the third district of Broad Moor.

New Malchow A - a settlement with nine farms - was located north of the old imperial road 2 They called this part also Busch Series.

South of the Reichsstrasse 2 was New Malchow B, consisting of a wind mill ( demolished in 1945 ) just off the road, and 200 meters south of the so-called middle row with ten farms ( here also belonged Broad Moor ). A further 400 meters to the south there was the upper row with 16 plants.

The settlements of New Malchow A and B ( formerly the monastic or princely Ackerhof ) created on the domain state after 1810 as part of the Stein-Hardenberg reforms Bergische. On this knight freyen Vorwerk previously farmers from Malchow ( Malechowo ), Martin Hagen ( Grabowo ) and Parpart ( Paproty ) had to perform common service.

The area had been settled in 1784 about 480 hectares. Until 1945, New Malchow A and B part of the community (old) Malchow, which formed a separate administrative and civil registry district and belonged to the district court area Schlawe. She was the district Schlawe i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania.

After 1945, the two parts of New Malchow were consolidated under the Polish name Malechówko and (until 1998 Koszalin Voivodeship ) is assigned as the district of Gmina Malechowo in powiat Slawienski the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. There live not quite 200 inhabitants.

Church

Ecclesiastical belonged New Malchow A and B prior to 1945 for the evangelical parish Malchow ( Altmalchow ) in the parish of Rügenwalde the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union. Last German minister was Pastor Otto Nitschalk.

After 1945 Malechówko was integrated into the Catholic parish Malechowo the deanery in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg Sławno. Here surviving Protestant church members are assigned to the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

School

The einklassige School of New Malchow A and B stood in the middle of the two places. Last German headmaster was a teacher Daske.
