Malek-Ashtar University of Technology

Malek Ashtar University of Technology ( MUT; persian دانشگاه صنعتی مالک اشتر ) is an Iranian university, which was founded in 1986. Its headquarters is located in Schahinschahr, a designed on the drawing board satellite town, 15 km north of Isfahan.

The MUT is divided into seven faculties since 1999. At the University conducted research among other things, the nuclear physicist Schahram Amiri, said to have been involved in the Iranian nuclear program and disappeared on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia in June 2009 under yet unknown circumstances.
