Malena Josephsen (born 3 January 1977) is a Faroese football player. In the National League and the first Faroese it 's a record player.

Association

Josephsen plays since her youth in KÍ Klaksvík. Their first competitive match she graduated in 1994 at the age of 17 years when she came off the bench in the first round of the Cup in a 4-0 away win against GÍ Gøta there and scored the final score. In the league, she made her debut on the opening day in the 0-2 away defeat against B36 Tórshavn, where she was again loaded. However, they developed quite quickly to a root player, the only league goal she managed a 2-1 away win on Matchday against EB Eiði. However, this rate could increase gradually, 2000 it made up 25 league goals. In the UEFA Women's Champions League Josephsen played 39 games, the first of which 2001/ 02 in the first round in a 2-1 win over USC Landhaus Vienna. The first of seven gates she succeeded in 2002/ 03 in the first round in a 2-0 win against TKSK Visa Tallinn, where they opened the scoring.

National

Josephsen with 31 games record player (with Randi S. Wardum ) of the national team. The first game she completed on 12 October 2004 in the 1-2 defeat in a friendly against Ireland in Klaksvík. The first goal was achieved in their European Championship qualifier against Wales in Strumica, where it marked the final score of 1:2. With a total of ten hits it ranks third behind Rannvá Biskopstø Andreasen and Heidi Sevdal.
