Maletsunyane Falls

As Maletsunyane Waterfall (English: Maletsunyane Falls to the river Maletsunyane, also Le Bihan after a French missionary, the first white man saw the falls in 1881 ) is called a 192 -meter-high waterfall in the country of Lesotho in Southern Africa. He is after the Tugela Falls in South Africa 's second highest waterfall and the highest uninterrupted waterfall in southern Africa.

The Maletsunyane Waterfall is located in the Maseru district near the town Semonkong and is a top tourist attraction. A descent to the valley floor is possible near the waterfall. In winter, the waterfall is often icy.

Semonkong means place of smoke and is named after the waterfall.
