Malin Andersson

Malin Andersson ( born May 4, 1973 in Kristianstad ) is a former Swedish football national player who now works as a trainer.

Career

Andersson began playing football at Arkelstorps IF. Later, she played for Älvsjö AIK and Malmö FF in the Damallsvenskan. In 1995, the midfielder was awarded the Diamond Bollen as Sweden's Player of the Year.

Between 1994 and 2005, Andersson went on in 151 appearances for the Swedish women's national team. They participated in the World Championships in 1995, 1999 and 2003 and the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004 in part.

After Andersson 2005 her active career ended, she became head of the Swedish Under-21 women.
