Mals Heath
The Mals Heath is incurred by sedimentary deposits of glacial rivers alluvial fan at the South Tyrol Vinschgau. It covers an area of about 13.25 square kilometers and ranges from about Glurns Laatsch, Clusio, burgeis, San Valentino alla Muta to Plawenn. The Mals Heath is considered the largest alluvial fan of the Alps. The difference in altitude is from 900 m ( Glurns ) up to 1760 m ( Plawenner Alm ). On the southern part of the area is the village of Malles. The area is mainly agricultural use due to its fertile soil.
