The Small-flowered mallow ( Malva pusilla ) is a plant belonging to the mallow family ( Malvaceae ).

Features

The Small-flowered mallow is an annual half- rosette plant, reaches the heights of growth 8-30 centimeters. The stem leaves are lobed. The flowers are arranged in tufts in clusters in the leaf axils. The petals are whitish, slightly emarginate and with a length of 4 to 5 mm as long as the calyx. The sepals have a curly edge. The partial fruits are bounded wrinkled and sharp. The fruit stalks are bent downward.

The flowering period extends from June to September. There is insect pollination and self-pollination. The seeds are long-lived and spread by humans, Velcro propagation and spread of digestion.

Occurrence
