Mammillaria magnimamma is a plant of the genus Mammillaria in the cactus family ( Cactaceae ). The specific epithet magnimamma means with large warts '.

Description

Mammillaria magnimamma growing globose, slightly depressed later often obovate. The gray to blue-green body divide frequently and form larger groups. The warts are large, broad, very depressed, ovoid dull and dark green and carry milk juice. The axillae are woolly; especially if they are young provided with white wool. Mammillaria magnimamma is distributed with large populations in the Mexican states of Hidalgo, Guerrero, Mexico, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Querétaro, Guanajuato, Tamaulipas, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí and occurs at altitudes between 100 and 2700 meters.
