Man, Ivory Coast
Region
The City of Man is an important commercial center in the west of Ivory Coast and the capital of the administrative region Dix- Huit Montagnes.
Location
It is located at the eastern end of the Nimbaberge and is surrounded by mountains, including La dent de Man, Mont Toura and Mount Tonkoui. About 5 km west of One is the waterfall La Cascade.
Economy
The city is located in a region characterized landwirtschaftschaftlich. In the area of rice, coffee, plantains, cassava and soybeans are mainly grown. In the surrounding mountains there is iron ore.
Previously ivory was an important economic factor in the region.
