Management International Review

Management International Review (abbreviated ME ) is a business management specialist magazine from Germany, which deals with research contributions to the International Management. It was launched in 1960 and in 2010 celebrates its 50th year. The rights to the journal are the Gabler Verlag, which in turn is part of Springer Science Business Media.

Content

All research articles are submitted and published in English in the newsroom. Before the publication of the submitted research papers will be reviewed in a double-blind method. The output of research articles are published on various aspects of international management usually six ( supervised). Since its first publication in 1960 of four to eight issues per year published. If more than four issues usually appear (at least) a Special Issue or since 2006 Focused Issue that each research includes contributions that are dedicated to a selected aspect of international management.

Editing

Longtime editor was Klaus Macharzina 1980-2005 since 2005., He is an honorary editor of MIR. From 2005 Macharzinas former employees Joachim Wolf and Michael -Jörg Oesterle took over the position of editor of MIR. The main editorial changes since then between the Christian -Albrechts- University of Kiel (2005-2008) and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (2008-2011) in the three-year cycle.

Reception

The magazine ranking of the British Association of Business Schools ( 2010) classifies it into the second best category 3.
