Manfred Hausleitner

Manfred Haus Leitner ( born May 11, 1957 in Tulln, Austria ) is one of the famous Austrian jazz drummers.

Life

Manfred Haus Leitner began playing drums at the age of 7 years. After training at the Jazz Institute of the Vienna Conservatory and the Academy of Music, he played with numerous sizes of the international jazz scene such as Art Farmer, Don Cherry, Friedrich Gulda, Dollar Brand ( Abdullah Ibrahim ), Jimmy Woode, Charlie Byrd, Sunny Murray, Makaya Ntshoko, Donald Kachamba, Harry Sokal, Nat Adderley and Erwin Kiennast.

He also worked with Tina Rainford, Shirley Bassey, Udo Jürgens, Roberto Blanco, Juliette Greco, Goldie Ens, Margot Werner, Andy Borg, Ulli Bäer and Frank Main.

As a lecturer he has been or is engaged to Toni Braitners Drum City, the Music School at Sir Karl Popper gymnasium, Bundesrealgymnasium on Rennbahnweg, in the education and work Gablitz at the community college Meidling.

He has held numerous workshops at home and abroad, and private faculty commitments.
