Manfred Stefes

Manfred Stefes ( born March 28, 1967 in Korschenbroich ) is a former German football player.

The defender played between 1988 and 1993 in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga for Borussia Mönchengladbach and Fortuna Dusseldorf before he joined the amateur stock. There he was active for DSV 04 Dusseldorf, Germania Teveren and Prussia Cologne until 1998. In the late 1990s he ended his playing career and was a football coach. Among others, he was an assistant coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach under Hans Meyer and Ewald Lienen.
