Mani Haghighi

Mani Haghighi ( born May 4, 1969 in Tehran ) is an Iranian theater director and filmmaker.

Life

In Canada, Haghighi studied philosophy, theater studies and methodology. He worked as a theater director and realized in 1994 a documentary film, several short films and commercials and in 2003 made ​​his feature film debut Abadan. His film Men at Work ran in the Forum of New Cinema at the International Film Festival in Berlin in 2006. His film Modest Reception celebrated its world premiere at the 62nd International Film Festival Berlin.
